Considering that Ultraviolent ninja based action is pretty much what I expected, and more importantly what I want from it, Variety can go **** themselves.

though if i was a dumb average moviegoer who knows nothing of this... and i went to go see a movie and saw " NINJA ASSASSIN - R" on the box office.. id wanna go see that. lol

it should make around 20 the first weekend, and ive seen a bunch of tv spots for this recently, just keep it going

speaking of it.. a movie thats "advertising" itself with the extreme stylised amount of gore NEEDS to get a redband-trailer!!! at least they should release one by now..

So the Variety reviewer doesn't like ninjas and violence. Got it.

The point is, like Nivek said is the action. The revenge plot is typical of ninja stories so no big "WHUT!?" coming from me.

For me the delivery counts far more in movies like this. Thanks for keeping me hyped up Variety.

No anger against Variety, they just described the movie I'm going to see. If there was a plot in this it would undermine the film.

I'm expecting 300 money. It's a guy/ geek thing, it looks cool as hell, and it's rated R. I will see it on principle. I loved the Ninja movies of the 80's. Hell, I had a 9 Deaths of the Ninja poster on my wall till I gave it to a friend as a birthday present.

You know, Variety, you can't expect a great story from a film with one of the most redundant titles ever. But I guess you have to review a film fairly. Anyway, here's hoping to many dimemberments and impalements.

i saw it during the Laker game not that much new footage, but a few extra quick scenes but it was still awesome

That's not the one I saw. The one during the Lakers game was number 5. TV Spot 4's music is 'The Tempest' by Pendulum. It was also in the 1st TV Spot.

300 was based off a fairly popular property and, yeah, most chicks I know loved that movie for well the 300 muscular oiled dudes.

So i'm thinkin not quite on the 300 money
