Holy Crap! There’s A Trailer Online For Paul Thomas Anderson’s THERE WILL BE BLOOD!

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here. And it suggests a film of simmering mood. This is one of the best scripts I’ve read recently, and seeing Daniel Day Lewis, even this briefly, just confirms that this is one of the year’s must-see movies for me. I can’t wait, and I’m so pleased to be able to share this first peek at the film with you.

I am the inverse. DDL is one of the finest actors working, and Anderson is overrated in my opinion with Boogie Nights being his only good movie. I liked Magnolia at first, but the more I watched it, the more I disliked it and thought it pretentious and overbearing.

This movie looks pretty damn good from the minute or so I saw from the trailer. Looks very Terrence Malick, very meditative and deliberately paced. And again, DDL.

It looks like a good movie (saw the trailer when I saw 3:10 to Yuma, twice :D) but I really dont like political films. Would they have made a film about the evil of man tied in with oil 10 years ago? I dont think so.

Its like that robert redford's film where he was in prison (I think the film was called "the last castle") and at the end of the movie all he wanted to do was raise the american flag (which didnt make a lick of sense except for the fact the war on terror was beginning), like it was a last minute edit due to 9/11.

It looks like an animated version of Day Lewis.

Predictible..they find oil, discover what they can do with it and now they are killing each other over it...the end.

I don't get all those skeptics here, this movie may really become new Citizen Kane or sme kind of it.

I loved new trailer and I was surprised by how direction and visual style of Anderson has changed.

He isn't indie geek anymore, now he's a professional and he clearly knows what he wants from people he's working with.

they are saying its one of the greatest performances of all time

on level with citizen kane, raging bull (deniro), godfather

Umm, who? Critics?

I've read only one review, and it's from AICN.

This film looks amazing
Im a little shocked at the negative response here. Looks like Daniel Day Lewis at his best ,in a film based on a book by Upton Sinclair! Whats not to love??!!
