NBC Affiliate Gets Goo All Over Their Faces
[ Thursday, March 01 ] @ 7:57 pm — Filed under: wtf, food, in the news
By: Corey —

A few days ago there was a story making the rounds on the news wires about Krispy Kreme introducing a new donut that would be made of whole wheat and low on calories.

NBC affiliate WAGT in Augusta picked up on this hard-hitting story, however it looks like they don’t exactly have an eagle-eyed production staff in the newsroom when you look at the on-screen graphic they used in their report. Watch the YouTube video below or click the image above for an enlarged still.

That’s right it’s Krispy Kreme, the whole wheat donut that, according to WAGT in Augusta, Georgia, is so good you’ll suck **** for it.

This is what happens when you hire idiots that get their on-air graphics from a Google Search without even looking at the results.

Morg posted a link to a picture with a bad word, my eyes burn.:csad:
Somebody ban him.:cmad:

Aw he doesn't know any better...

it is funny and all, but seriously...if i posted this, the thread would be deleted, yet when a mod posts it, it's cool. :down

and that's where you are wrong, if I was calling a poster a **** yes that would gotten me in trouble, I wouldn't delete it if another user made it unless he went too far with the wording or something

Why would it be deleted? "Suck dick" is not a banned phrase unless you tell another poster to do it.

i don't want to get into it because it's WAAAY off topic, but i will say that under the right circumstances, something like this stands a good chanced of getting axed. by circumstances, i mean the general mood of a given mod. i've had threads deleted that didn't break any rules whatsoever; just that a mod was power tripping that day...

damn... i laughed so hard at that that beer came out of my nose. and that hurts, because it's all fizzy.

I can imagine it

Mod - Arrrgh..I'm so power hungry!! HAHAHAAA....what can I do now? HRmm...Let me close photojones's thread just to irk him. *close* HAHAHAA...good enough for me to poop on!

Seriously, Morg is a mod? Mommy wow....

Mods are just people like you and I. Their judgement isn't always perfect.

Cut them some slack.

i made a thread a while ago about deleted threads. specifically, a thread where a mod could post why it was deleted to kind of clarify and calm confusion and anger that sometimes arises from deletions/closings.

but that was closed and then deleted.

profanity/nudity/threats/spam - deletion/banned

some of them make it A LOT harder than it needs to be.

Must be a personal thing I guess

Maybe there was a mod who was drunk (or on some other substance) and read it wrong.

mod under influence - "Umm...I think he wants me to close and delete this thread? Um...yeah...I'm SURE that's what he wants me to do *close* *delete*. Damn I'm hungry."
