This is What Forgiveness Looks Like

We can all hope to show someone a bit of forgiveness who've wronged us but this family has gone far and above anything I've ever witnessed.

The compassion and resolve they showed towards this young man he'll remember for the rest of his life. If only the rest of us had this type of forgiveness in ourselves, maybe we'd live in a better world.

I would never forgive. That person is responsible for me losing one of the people I love most on Earth? No, sorry. Even if it was an accident (although drunk-driving is about as loose as you can get when describing "accident") there would be no forgiveness.

It's people like that that give Christians a good name, I couldn't say for sure that I would do the same if someone took my daughter from me but I'd like to think that I would try. As a guy with 2 DUI's from my young and dumb days I count my blessings that I was never responsible for someones death with my reckless behavior
