This is what happens when you talk in the movies

Talking during any movie directed by David Mamet is grounds for at least the breaking of a limb, I'm sorry.
I don't care if he talked during Citizen Kane. It still ain't right.

Though I will admit I died from laughter at the conversation you made up between the hub and wife.

What I want to know is why this guy had his gun in his sweatpants? Didn't he learn from Plaxico?

At least he shot someone other than himself I guess.

I wonder what you crazy people here would have done if someone... god forbid... talked during a DARK KNIGHT screening...

the next day we would read in the papers that there were murders all over the country! then there would be an overflow of deranged fanboys going to jail and meeting "Bubba" for the first time.

To me, it doesn't matter what movie is being shown. When you're in the theater watching a movie shut the f--- up

Well, you have the teenage set who purposely talk and make noise because they know it's being disruptive, those do deserve a least a graze.

I think they deserve a beating in the stairwell. You save the bullets for the mom changing her baby's dirty diaper in the middle of the theater

My girlfriend and I went to Marley & Me at 9:50 p.m. last night. Just as the last trailer was being shown, a big family with six to seven kids, all young, walked in. You could hear people throughout the theater groan. You would think that little kids wouldn't be going to a movie that late, but they were there.
Anyway, to my astonishment, no one talked the whole movie. I couldn't remember the last time that happened. It was amazing.

Hey now, sometimes the trailers are the best part of the movie.

I went to see Benjamin Button last night, and it was a late showing full of obviously teenagers who weren't really there to enjoy the flick, and not only was there talking, but sitting in a theatre-like room where the rows are one above each other, the people below you have blackberries and cell phones and they're texting..that ****ing bright ass screen is right below your line of sight. :cmad:
I agree I hate it when they pull out their cells and text. I hate it when they do that!

That's irritating, but I can live with it most of the time. It's the a-holes that TALK on their cell phones during a movie that I can't tolerate. I once took a guy's cell phone away from him during a film. The first call I let pass. The second call I asked him to put it away to which he replied "F**k you!". The third call I ripped it out of his hand, hung up on the person he was talking to (who he had called, by the way) and told him if he ever wanted to see his cell phone in one piece again, he'd shut up and watch the movie and I'd give it back to him in the end. Everyone in the theater applauded. He was a good boy the rest of the movie and he got his cell phone back at the end (and I didn't have to pummel him to death, either). I have also ripped the shoes off of someone who was kicking the back of my seat and refused to stop when I asked nicely and thrown them down by the screen. I figure if someone feels they have the right to be rude and want everyone to pay attention to them during a movie then I have an obligation to give them that attention even if it's not the kind of attention they were wanting. :)

**** and watch the movie.

Jag is so hardcore.

No, I just have little patience for rude people and won't just sit there and put up with it like most people will. :o

Okay. Despite the fact we all get annoyed at people talking during the movies, does it really merit giving praise to someone who shot another human being?

I have to agree. Look, I hate it when people talk during movies just like anyone else. It truly ruins the theater experience and is part of the reason I stopped going. But I find this to be pretty damn horrific.

I hate being anywhere near teenagers during a movie.
