- Is becoming very interesting. It's getting more and more like a horror story as the pieces of what went on, fall into place. We have a child's remains and bricked up cellar containing what? We don't know, but it sent a sniffer dog trained to react to human remains wild. We have a set of stocks, and a trap door, rope and chair arrangement. A torture chamber? We have a second bricked up hidden room beyond the bricked up cellar.

We also have institutionalised abuse and victims recounting tales of rape and escape.

If you haven't been following this... It really could be a novel, it's shocking, horrific, disturbing, surreal and very sad.

I don't like how interesting you find this tragic story.

I'm sure there's a horror film coming out called The Orphanage . . .

It really is fascinating how life truly is stranger and more twisted than fiction. You take something like "The Hostel" and then you realise, this is real life and far more horrific.

It's true that realistic horrors are much more scary than rubber-suited monsters lol. If you can believe it can happen, that's enough.

Agreed, to add to that, "if you can believe it can happen, it probably has happened, or is happening or will happen".

I'm gonna keep my eye out anyway. Haha I mean for news on this story.

What amazes me is this went on for 60 years, allegedly, and no one noticed? What the hell were Jersey Social Services doing?

On the TV this old bloke who used to live there said there was a cover up, but on the upside, they had a pool.:o

Most Cover ups are whirly! Also to the comment about rubber suited monster to me is more scary than the real time thing. With the real life thing you know you could fight back
