Personally, I think you should all go to hell. Elfman > every other composer in Hollywood.

That being said, I really don't think Elfman's them works for Begins at all. I think Shirley Walker's theme would probably be a better fit.

No, it actually sounds like a carbon copy of his Pee-wee score....which sounds a lot like parts of his Scissorhands score.

WOW, that is a very good trailer. But could the whole movie have used the Elfman soudtrack? not sure. Maybe the sequel will have a similar feel...that would be nice.

I agree that an Elfman-only score could not have worked in Begins, it is a little too theatrical. However, I would have liked to hear the theme at least once or twice, if only a modified version of it. The animated series got it dead-on, and even when it was changed for the Batman/Superman Adventures it was still jusr right for the tone. I don't see why we couldn't hear a partial Elfman score for Batman Begins the same way we did for Williams' Superman theme in Superman Returns. Does Elfman own the rights to the music as opposed to the studio?

D.Elfman score is what I think C. Nolan & co should have never change. I think it could have worked.
IMO BBegins score has a "pirates of the caribbean" feel in it ...

I like elfman, and i like that score, but I just don't think it gels with begins one bit -- it fit burton's movies perfectly in MO, but it just doen't feel right for begins, maybe because it's too theatrical.

They don't. KalMart just needs to remove the ear wax. You see. . .Danny Elfman has a musical style that appears in all his compositions. Just like John Williams has a style that appears in his compositions. When people like KalMart, who don't have a musical ear, hear this they get confused. They confuse the style with the composition. It happens. When Superman `78 was released people accused Williams of repeating his Star Wars theme. He did not. They just got confused cause he used a similar style.

Not really. The pace of the music doesn't blend with what's being shown.
