I've been hearing about this Michael B. Jordan Thomas Crown Affair since 2016.

Not very familiar with TCA, but I am interested in how this turns out.

This is been on his docket for a while now, though originally just to star.

Will be interesting who he casts as his female co-star.

Has it really been almost as long since the Pierce Brosnan version as the Brosnan version was from the McQueen version? Where did the time go?

Sometimes I think these articles are written by AI

The previous two Thomas Crown Affair films turned Faye Dunaway and Rene Russo into instant A-listers

Both were very well known A-listers beforehand lol

The Pierce Brosnan version is an absolute gem with an amazing ending.

I love that film.

:questioning:
The lead actress leaving right after they starting filming over "creative differences" -- that doesn't sound good....

I was looking forward to this, because I like the both previous versions and I wanted to see what MBJ would do with it; but I assume it will have to be delayed a bit.

Well, that was quick. I was hoping for another Black actress, though.

Wanted fo see Russell in this but this ain't a bad back up at all.

That phrase, “creative differences,” gets trotted out so often in Hollywood it’s basically industry code for something went wrong behind the scenes. But what actually happened? The trades must know something, but they seem to be staying out of it. Thankfully, Jeff Sneider isn’t.

According to Sneider, word is that Russell and Jordan reportedly grew “close” in the lead-up to production. Things eventually cooled off before the European leg of the shoot began, but the fallout was allegedly significant enough to impact the working environment on set.
