This is a fan story I've been working on for a while. In it, Thundarr, Ariel, and Ookla meet the kids from the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon.
The basic story is that Hank, Eric, Diana, Presto, Sheila and Bobby all make it home, but they're attacked by Venger as they're entering the magic portal between worlds. Eric deflects Venger's attack with his Griffon Shield, and the combination of Venger's offensive magic and the shields defensive magic alters the transdimensional magic of the portal. They find themselves back in the amusement park where they left, but in the year 4000. To make matters worse, Venger follows them through. Venger nearly kills Presto in a violent battle between himself and the kids. Fortunately Thundarr, Ookla and Ariel intervene and together they run Venger off. The kids decide they want to go back to their own time, and Thundarr and his friends agree to help them. Unfortunately this means sneaking into the stronghold of Ariel's stepfather, the evil wizard Sabian, and using his time portal. Even worse, Shadow Demon evesdrops on the nine heroes and reports back to Venger, who then forges an alliance with Sabian.
It's at this point I'm suffering from writers block. I want to have the companions attacked by random villains on their way to Sabian's tower, I just don't know who or what. I know I want them to get captured, I'm just not sure how. I know I want Bobby to be the one to bust them out, again I'm not sure how. But I do have a nice twist ending figured out. I just need a little help with the middle part. I tried posting what I got, but it was too long and the site wouldn't let me post it. I'm thinking of breaking it down into chapters for posting purposes. Anyway, any suggestions any of you have would be greatly appreciated.
