so i really want to draw like a certain artist..how do i go about learning to mimick his style?

I'd say trace, copy, all that jazz. And that certain artist could be in some of the Marvel/DC how to draw books, so there's that too.

Out of curiosity, why is it you want to copy someone else?

yeah i know..i mean..i wont exactly copy his style..i just like that style.

not exactly copy..just the get the basic concept down..i want a grungy type look to my pictures..a creepy look. idk how to do that..

Well, you could start by comparing his work to other artists and seeing what makes his stuff grungier and creepier. Just plain copying it won't really tell you that.

i know he finishes his piece with black ink..so thats one thing i need to do. then he splatters ink too. for like blood splashes and junk. so ill start with that. thanks for the help so far guys.

Get a book on animation and drawing animated characters. Also check out other artists and develope your own style. It's better to work on your own thing as oppose to just trying to "copy" someone else's style. I've gone through those phases and have never really been happy with what I've produced because I'm trying to draw like someone else and not what feels natural to me. It takes time but it's better that way.

Take a look at Azpiri, Joe Morse and other artist find out what you like about each and work on developing your own style.
