Wallopin' Websnappers! Snort. snort.

why's that?

the answer doesn't count if its going to be:

- because the movies stray so far from the comics.
- because that scene will be stupid.

oh, and apparently SOMEBODY likes what raimi does. his movies make a few bucks, don't they?

I just hope thats not the teaser trailor!!!

*Big Drum Beat Starts*

*Flases Of The Symbiote Spider Logo*

*The Spider In Full Form Covers The Screen*

*Drums Get Heavier To A Climatic Stop*

*James Brown Song Starts....And We See Peter Jiving Down The Street*

*Camera Gets Closer to peters face...he looks to the camera and gives a cheeky smile*

*BANG!! A Giant drum cuts the scene and appears the title....*

*Spider-Man: Electric Boogaloo*

personally i would walk out superman a happy man, (and a heavily suicidal & destroyed man)

The dancing scene looks to be in-line with the tone of the two previous films up to this point.

Remember... Raimi's Spider-Man is not a gritty, overly-realistic one.

We're talking about the same Peter Parker who flipped a tray of cafeteria food with his webbing onto Flash Thompson in Spider-Man... and the same Pete who rode a scooter and mentioned that his suit 'rides up' in Spider-Man 2.
Much of this is tongue-in-cheek... and if indeed he's doing this while the symbiote is joined with him... then perhaps it's a montage of him 'feeling good' before he realizes that it's changing him.

The first film's message was... "With great power comes great responsibility".
The second film's message was... "Sometimes to do what's right... You must give up the thing you want the most (ala a normal life)."

The third film's message will be a metaphor for not letting power and/or success change you... Staying true to yourself even when faced with infinite power (the suit).

This wouldn't work if he didn't feel positively GREAT about the suit to begin with (as in the strutting scene). If it made him feel horrible from the beginning, there'd be nothing to 'sacrifice'. And that's what these films are all about.

oh god this is so the wrong way to go... if this is how i think it's gonna be.. Just show him getting angrier and losing control, that's what the cartoons did brilliantly when he got the symbiote costume... none of this wannabe hip-hop walking down the street thinking he's some major rapper type crap... holy hell, why does he look like Ed Furlong?

God,he's even dorky when he's evil.:(

dorkiness is his charm ;)

its what he does with it that defines him :p

it's quite clear, this is a direct correlating scene to the raindrops one of the second film...

another change, another different attitude, another view/perspective of life...

hey they did this in the cartoon as well the first episode or second where pete gets the symbiote he goes up to flash and says" i've got more than a backbone" or smething like that than he walks slowly away then does a cartwheel( however you spell it) and then flips backwards and continues walking. then in the next episode of the cartoon spidey starts losing control and getting angrier and finds out the suit is taking over him which is probably whats going to happen in the movie.

lol looks like peter just got laid to me, hahahaha

Anyone else see him taunting all the girls he walked by? idk, I kinda liked it, it seems to be like the raindrops sequence in sm2, but only now instead of feeling free, he feels like he's on top of the world. I'm sure it won't seem as bad in theatres, because what they were getting ont eh camera was not what everyone else was seeing off to the side, it was just a head shot pretty much.

Any of you guys think this scene could be the reveal of "Emo Peter Parker", as some like to call it?

I think they're filming Spider-Man: The Music Video.

can some1 explain to me what this emo term means???
