Tom Rothman mentions the Letters Campaign

Ok so Xavier will come back, Magneto has his powers, Mystique will get her powers back. She probably hates her now. Rogue will get her powers back (and some possible new ones?) Zak Penn confirmed Emma and Gambit if there is an X4. He said Apoc may be in it if he does X4. Also they are going to find a way to bring back Cykes and Jean. They have too. And Sabretooth is still alive. Maybe bring him back? And an Army of sentinels to fight off Apoc and his horsemen?

Who? Magneta? Of course :oldrazz:

Dream on! That would be mutant overcrowding at the very least.

Patrick Stewart is getting a bit old for Xavier no? He's pushing 70... the only way I see him coming back is if they film X4/5 back to back and release them by 2010/2011... (by the way what else has Marvel confirmed they are making other than Hulk/Spiderman)... but if they do that it could seriously work... a new trilogy is too much to ask (with a returning cast)... if you ask me... X4 needs:

Storm, Iceman, Beast, Kitty, Rougue, Collos, Gambit, Emma, and Cyclops returning... everyone agrees that that is not at all a lot to be asking for...

The Brotherhood and the school should really take a back seat... I am tired of teenage mutants... no need to introduce a new younger class... and ditch the Hellfire club and give the Jean ressurection a rest...

Sinsiter you villain... Graydon Creed side villain... and Apocalypse... so Fox... sign a ****ing director and some better writers and get on the ball before the actors get too old... you still can redeem yourself

Yes, they should film two sequels back to back and end the saga for once and for all. It would be the best for all, both Fox/Marvel and actors.

The funniest part is that quite a few of us refuse to refer to the x-flicks as a 'saga'.

Series? Sure. Saga? Bwahahahahaha. In Rothman's wildest dreams.

Saga implies something epic and with somewhat of an actual sensical narrative. :woot:

Filming stuff back to back won't make it any better. LOTR wasn't good because they shot it back to back. It was good because the producers/writers/director had their s**t together since day one.

P.S. And I do mean TRUE epic, not the POSER nonsense we got in X3. :woot:

i thought saga kind of implied more than three installments. X-men, it's a trilogy. Star Wars is a saga. i dunno, maybe it's just me..but i've always had a different interpretation of a saga. I agree, sagas should feel epic, but even if the X-men franchise was even more epic...is till wouldn't consider it a saga. it would still be a trilogy.

Lord of the Rings (movies) are pretty epic, but I've never heard anyone refer to it as a saga. I've always heard it referred to as a trilogy, because it has three installments. The Matrix movies were pretty epic in terms of cinematography...but it's still considered a trilogy...no one says the Matrix saga. lol or at least..i've never heard it.

Yes, X-men is still a trilogy, but can be a saga, because the history of the comics. Lord of the rings is called a trilogy because there were only three books, so can't be called a saga. But that's not the case of the x-men. We can see it as a saga, knowing the possibilities, X4, X5... But for now, yes, is a trilogy, there's no doubt.

Yea, I totally agree with you. But right now, we only have three X-Men movies. When we get the rest..then we can safely call the movie franchise a saga.
