Tony Jaa Ong Bak 2

its not that theres not story... its that the story is complleetee **** and the acting horrendous...

on a quest to save an elephant...? really? lol
at least the usual cop's partner was killed, he's out for justice or w.e lol

the fights are ok. Not so much beautiful than making you feel sorry for the stuntmen.

The fight choreography is great in his films. I haven't seen Ong Bak 2 yet though. It's been out for awhile.

The one big problem though I have with his movies is that his stuntmen don't make the fights exciting. They run to him, stop, and get their ass kicked. It looks so damn choreographed. Still cool to watch and I enjoy his fight scenes, but it's starting to get stale with him. He's no Donnie Yen.

I bought this movie two months ago. The fight scenes were crazy. :applaud

this movie easily had some of the best fight sequences within the last decade bar none. Tony Jaa really knows his stuff!

on a quest to save an elephant...? really? lol
i think you're thinking of a different movie. Ong Bak 2 was about a young man who grows up to seek revenge for the death of his parents. not exactly the an original tale, but if you're gonna critique a movie at least make sure you're thinking of the right one.

He is thinking of "The Protector" that despite its thin plot is still a great movie and has one of the best cherogrpahed fight sequences out there.

Loved Ong Bak and I'm definitely checking out the sequel.

I've got Ong Mak and I've seen the Protector (well, the pre-let's market it for the USA version; i forget what they called it). Great action movies, but yeah the story is pretty much the same:

you took (insert "elephant" or "statue") from me. Now I will fight everyone i can to get it back.

But regardless, I agree; Tony is a ****ing bad ass. Nuff said.
