You beat me to this post :)

I thought it was a pretty cool addition... mostly because who would expect people writing for Forbes to give a nod to Tony Stark? This is some good subversive advertising for 2008.

That's not right about Mr. Burns. He actually found out once he had no money and had been given bad advice for years from all his "yes" men". He earned his money back through the Lil' Lisa recycling plant. He's rich but no where near number 2.

HA! Bruce Wayne powns Tonys ass!
but! Oliver queen has a few billion yet he is nowhere on the list but Mario who has ONE! billion is? ...

I refuse to believe Bruce Wayne has more money than Tony Stark. The production cost of each suit of armor alone, not even including money spent on repairs and upgrades, has to trump the amount of money to make Batsuits and all of Wayne's other gadgets.

Lex Luthor should also be on that list...

^He was last year but dropped off. He has vowed to return though.

I thought #9 Prince Abakaliki Of Nigeria was a priceless choice!LOL

Net Worth: $2.8 billion
Source: Telecommunications
Age: 37
Marital Status: Single
Hometown: Lagos, Nigeria
Education: Yaba College of Technology, B.S.
The first son of the late KING SANI ABAKALIKI, the former head of state of Nigeria; presently under protective custody as a political refugee. Despite his confinement and rumored physical and psychological torture, PRINCE ABAKALIKI does have a broadband Internet connection and keeps busy sending out countless e-mails to complete strangers who he hopes will cooperate with him in a mutual transaction. Specifically, PRINCE ABAKALIKI wants to get his hands on his share of his father's estate ($50.000.000 US DOLLARS) which has been deposited in a fund with an unnamed foreign security company. Once a trustworthy stranger has opened communications with PRINCE ABAKLIKI, he will send a LETTER OF AUTHORITY to them, so that they may clear the fund and invest the money for him. For their services, the lucky stranger will receive 30% of the $50.000.000 US DOLLARS. New member.

If I had a hundred billion euros, I'd buy a mechano-*****e suit too. I want a real superhero, like Aquaman, Green Arrow, or Rosa Parks.

BOO-YAH!!

Lex Luthor should also be on that list...

Actually, after the OYL jump he's broke and hiding out in "underground" lairs. That, and Bruce accumulated a lot of his fortune in Superman/Batman vol.1, #6.

I would say that Batman has a tad bit more than Iron Man.

Wayne Enterprises is the largest corporation in the DCU and also owns the original LexCorp and nearly all of Gotham and Metropolis. It takes part in shipping, aeronautics, medicine, media, Stark Enterprises is probably just a tad bit smaller in scale.

He has access to technology on par with Iron Man. Possibly even more considering his membership in the Justice League gives him access to Thanagarian, Kryptonian, Martian, and Apokoliptan technology.

He once funded the Outsiders. He now funds the Justice League. Stark no longer funds the Avengers, the U.S. Government does.

Oliver lost all of his money when he became the Green Arrow.

And yeah, Tony Stark is a republican, how could you, knowing who he is and what he does, NOT know that?

I never thought Stark to be a Republican. You know what Charles Barkley said though...

Where did they get these arbitrary ages?

Those numbers aren't right. Spidey recently(in the last 2-3 years) jokingly asked Tony where he could get one of those suits of armor and Tony told him point blank "You got $7 billion dollars?" Yep, 1 suit, $7 billion(more than Bruce Wayne's entire net worth according to the same Forbes piece). He has many suits. Also at about the same time Tony told the Avengers that he wasn't made of money like he used to be(this was after Avengers: Disassembled). And Ultimate Tony Stark is worth north of $300 billion according to Ultimates Vol. 1. Wayne's poor by comparison.
