Top 10 movies of all time?

Ugh. In no order.

The Shining
Mulholland drive
Lotr trilogy
Vanilla sky
HP series
Inception
Dark knight trilogy
T2
Back to the future
Shawshank redemption

Yeah, I cheated. What are you going to do about it.

I see that multiple people are ranking Terminator 2 ahead of Terminator 1. I believe that they are mistaken.

They are both really good by far the top 2 of the 4 terminator movies but I think all 4 have been at least some what good. But I agree with people who put terminator 2 over 1. The terminator movies form best to worse go like this for me. terminator 2, terminator 1, terminator 3, terminator 4.

My favourites, in no particular order:

LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring
Unforgiven
Roman Holiday
The English Patient
Beauty and the Beast
Alien
Gladiator
Toy Story
The Road Warrior
Pulp Fiction

Top 20 in alphabetical order because ranking is way too hard:

Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppla)
American Graffiti (George Lucas)
Boogie Nights (Paul Thomas Anderson)
Chinatown (Roman Polanski)
Goodfellas (Martin Scorsese)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Milos Forman)
Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino)
Raging Bull (Martin Scorsese)

The 400 Blows (Francious Truffaut)
The Dark Knight (Christopher Nolan)
There Will Be Blood (Paul Thomas Anderson)
The Godfather (Francis Ford Coppla)
The Graduate (Mike Nichols)
The Shining (Stanley Kubrick)
The Social Network (David Fincher)

10. Videodrome
9. Contempt
8. Skammen
7. Andrei Rublev
6. Ran
5. 8 1/2
4. The Passion of Joan of Arc
3. In the Mood for Love
2. 2001: A Space Odyssey
1. The Sacrifice

can't do a top ten

Nolan trilogy
Burton's Batman movies
Beetlejuice
Batman Forever
The Avengers
Spider-Man 1 & 2
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Star Wars trilogy
Harry Potter series
Alien
The Shining
X-Men 2

In no particular order:

Vertigo
The Godfather
The Godfather Part 2
Taxi Driver
Raging Bull
Goodfellas
Once Upon a Time in the West
Pulp Fiction
Lord of the Rings
The Dark Knight

These aren't necessarily the 'best' I've ever seen or even my favorite to watch, but a combination of them. Citizen Kane was a very well made flick but I'd be lying if I claimed to watch it often. Similarly, I have many guilty pleasures that I love to watch but aren't as objectively good as others
