What would you consider your Top 5 perfect meals?
Links or photos if you have 'em.

Just outside the tower of London. It was very cold day but for 5 Pounds, I got a local beer and the largest fish and chips I've ever ended. Glorious!

1. Char Kway Teow, Penang - Malaysia
Pure perfection! This tastes so good and there's a certain nostalgia associated with Malaysian cooking for me.

Spoons, the Vortex is more show than go imo. I have eaten there twice and wasnt that impressed with the food. But maybe I was too busy looking at the topless pinups from the 50s that are on the walls.

These are top meals and therefore not top restaurants, so for me:

1. My grandmother's Khoreshte Kharafs (type of celery stew served with rice)

2. A cote de boeuf (a type of steak) grilled on a barbecue accompanied with a Chateau Cheval Blanc 2000 (had it at my parents place)

3. A dinner I had at Le Laurent

4. A dinner I had at Auberge Basque. The desert (a soufflé), which you had to order before the meal, was so good that everyone at the table orderred one after tasting mine despite the 30 minute wait.

5. A recent meal that had been prepared by my fiancé which was a Chicken of Bresse with grilled potatoes and a salad that she had roasted accompanied by a Paul Jaboulet Hermitage wine from 1991 which I still have a few bottles of.

Aw, that's a shame. Gladys Knight's chicken and waffles joint it is then :D

This thread makes me realize how little I've ever really eaten out in my life. :(

Most of my good meals would therefore be stuff prepared from homes of friends and families.

Sounds good to me.

Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, buttermilk biscuits and tea. Nothing better.

I really don't eat out all that much.

Lucky China- Mongolian Beef

In N Out- Double Double

Five Guys- Cheeseburger n Fries

Lucille's- Ribs

That's about it really, I don't eat out too much although I kinda want to try The Counter.

OMG! Five Guys Burgers are, officially, the best burgers. Hands down.

You knew else has a really good burger? Rain Forest Cafe. I went to the one in Vegas and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great too.

While in Vegas, I also ate an obscene amount of Fatburger and In-N-Out cuz they don't exist where I live :awesome:

There's a place called Jack Brown's where I live. It has the best Cheeseburgers I've ever had. They use Kobe' beef. and they have fried oreos!!!

Wrong. See bold below.

^This.

Five Guys is the freakin awesome

Again, someone stuck in Georgia. Go out west and try a Fatburger bro.

Devil clearly endorses Fatburger :D

Only Jack In The Box is left on my burger list

Fatburger has better burgers. Five Guys has better fries.

And at Five Guys they give you a ridiculous amount. They give you a cup then they pour a big batch on top of that. Fatburger gives you the equivalent of a "small" fries from McD's.
