I put this in the products forum, but since some of you guys don't really look around there much, I figured I'd put it here as well.
Do you guys remember the Batman Returns figures from back in the day? I remember getting "Freeze Blast Batman" or something like that. His suit was white and black and I remember thinking that the suit itself looked like the 89 costume more then the Returns costume.
I recently found this figure in my parents basement, he was a bit beat up with scratches on the face, ect so I took out my paints and decided to work on him. Now, the figure had a pretty darn good "Keaton" likeness for a 90's figure anyway. I just touched up his face, put some coloring to the lips and added blue to the eyes and of course, a pupil.
I also painted over the white coloring a matt black and "dirtied" up the belt a little bit with dry brush. I then hand made a base out of the Marvel Legends Juggernaut base and sculpy.
Here's the finale result, I tried to take the best pictures I could to give it a "cinematic look." I'm currently trying to find the Batmobile toy from the Returns line as well.
The last one there is my favorit, it's pretty blurry but I got the look I wanted to out of that one. Again, this custom was nothing amazing and didn't take long to do. It was just restoring an old figure to stand along my other Batman figures.
