Dark of the Moon 'Transformers 3' Bringing Back 'Core Mythology'

Conceptually, the Matrix of Leadership wasn't too far off from the original concept. It is like a network that the great leaders of the Autobots get downloaded into when they die, and thus those who possess the Matrix possess the wisdom of Primes past. The part where they effed it up was by making the matrix look like "Robot Heaven." It should have had a digital, almost Tron-like look IMO, not that goofy mystical look.

do you know how many times bay has said core mythology? pretty much every film..

I just hope the Matrix is used in the 3rd movie, hopefully it is housed in Prime's chest as it should be and lets Optimus look a bit more into the mythology of the Autobots.

I think the Matrix was destroyed when Prime blew up that Sun Harvester thingy.

I think it could still be in the next film . . . if it's possible for it to re-materialise from a "pixie-dust" state, it might be possible for it to be recovered from the rubble of the great pyramids.

P.S. : it's great to see some familiar names around here again :yay:

Haha it is funny hearing about the core mythology. That is what the second one was supposed to be about, but man it was garbage. I hate Bay.
