You seen the second trailer, right? There's a scene where Megatron headbutts Optimus and presses a sword against his neck.

So the latest tv spot that shows the "secret history" of the TF says they have always been here to protect Earth from something destined to arrive and that is that very large object...so is it Unicron or is it Cybertron?

I have no problem whatsoever with the Dark Souls-esque Transformer there. Looks neat.

Yeah its a badass design. I would have watched a transformers film set entirely in the middle ages. Knights, king Arthur, transformers that can transform from giant Knights into giant metal dragons... thatd be awesome and better than just another modern day sequel that occassionally flashes back to the middle ages.

Everytime one of these movies comes out and people ***** about not seeing it, he does it. He did it with Devastator, he did with Shockwave, and he did with the Dinobots, lol.

A lot of that stuff in the ''Secret Past'' video is kind of sketchy.

Seems like some of the Transformers are in their alt-modes in era's where the designs wouldn't exist yet.

Well, we already know Bumblebee was on Earth long before the events of TF1, so that makes sense at least.

I think the Secret History stuff is 50% canon and 50% marketing. The Megatron Knight mode head and the Optimums Knight with the Sward are just there as easter eggs because if we take TF1-4, we know that Optimums and Megatron arrived on earth well after the Author times and in AOE, Optimums got his knight armor.

Plus you can tell the differences in the footage between the actual film and the promo material, for example the color pallets.
