Cheap plastic.Very nice! But the whole thing looks like it's made of cheap plastic. How can they justify the cost?
Plastic is far from cheap. And they always use high quality on MP figures. As for cost, well it's size for one. Electronics for light up gimmick. And the engineering. Plus it's mean't to appeal to a collector market. So the production runs are smaller, which drives up the price.Cheap plastic.Plastic is far from cheap. Bumblebee looks amazing![]()
The alt modeYeah, he did an excellent job capturing the feel of the cartoon Bumblebee.
Here's the whole photo set, showing the VW form as well...

The only additional thing he needed to do was to fix the front wheels in Bumblebee's feet so they can swivel or fold back somehow so he can stand flat-footed. Easier said than done, I'm sure.

t:Alright, I've got a question for you guys.
About 13 or 14 years ago I had this Decpticon Tranformer. He was a big blue/light blue futuristic space plane, and he transformed and had another robot with him, a smaller robot with a black head.
They were both blue and light blue and one had those colors in a camo pattern.
Now that you mention it, it could have very well been 15 or 16 years back.
I'm 21, and Beast Wars was popular with me when I was around 9 or 10.
But it was a Decepticon........just some dark blue/light blue space ship or airplane or something that came with another little plane that transformed.
Bingo!
I did a google search and found a couple on eBay. Who knows, maybe I'll pick one up. Thanks for the help.
