they do have FNMTV. Friday Night MTV where they show a bunch of music videoes, of course I havent seen a band on MTV I liked in years anyway

So that's, what, one day a week for an hour?

I don't think theres been any real VJs for years, and late night it's just reruns of some reality programs.

That would explain why when I looked at a TV guide there were nothing but listings of America's Next Top Model under MTV.

I saw TRL the other day for the first time in years. There's that hot chick with the accent.

TRL was huge when the teen pop era of the 90s exploded.

But then it just bit the dust once urban music started to take over the pop charts. Everybody just switched over to 106 & Park to get their countdown fix. Not that Park is any better, but at least they play the videos for more than 15 seconds.

TRL used to be the **** back in the day. 10 full videos of popular musics, mostly with the top 3 being ***gotry like Backstreet or NSYNC, but still it was an alright show.

Then like 4 years later it turned into the "Carson Daily *****ebag Show", which then turned to them not even showing 10-6, which eventually go to where all they did was have people plug their shows/cd's/movies and other **** while playing 15-20 second blurbs of the videos, with the number 2 and number 1 slot getting maybe a chorus and a verse. If they were lucky.

Good riddance. The show was always garbage.

Of course, they are just going to repackage it under a different name in a few weeks or months...
