If there is a poster on here that is versed in Tibetan mysticism, could you help me out?
In a thriller I recently read, there were gruesome murders taking place on a cruise ship. The main character was grounded in science, and did not believe in things such as ghosts, goblins, etcetera. However, prior to boarding the ship, he had been staying at a Tibetan monastery, and learnd of some artifact that one of the first Lamas brought to the monastery...and it was stolen.
On board the cruise ship, as the main character attempted to come up with a scientific explanation, he was continually stumped. It turns out that the person who stole this Tibetan artifact had conjured a Tulpa, and it had been getting around the cruise ship, causing a nasty bit of trouble...
And the explanation for the Tulpa was strange, since the authors of this book have kept their series grounded in science from the getgo, back in '95.
So is thoughtform, conjuring a Tulpa, possible?
