Two Worlds

He coulda had it for the PC, right? Isn't it out for PC as well?

Yea, true, but considering he said:
"I'm not sure how the PC version holds up with a great graphics card, but on the 360 it is down right terrible"
and
"To put it simply, I placed the game in my 360, my friend sitting next to me..."
leads me to believe he was using a 360, but that doesn't matter, I'm sure i just have him confused w/ another member.

Im sure youre right about the game, but what store did you buy it from that lets you return it for a FULL refund once its opened. I know its not GameStop, BestBuy, Target, WalMart or Circuit City as they dont allow you to do that. Also, i didnt think you owned a 360, thought you were a PS3 guy?

Well he worked there, so I'm sure there was a little cheating going on. Me and a bunch of other people used to do it way back when I worked in retail. :o

Oh damn, my bad then I'm sure. :o

Reading comprehension FTW!

For the record, people who work at GameStop can and DO return games that they buy for a full refund. All they simply have to do is put a defective sticker on the game and send it back to refurb. It happens often.

Why don't they just play it at the store to see if they like it before doing that?

We had very few copies for non-reserve customers, so incase it WAS a great game, I wanted to make sure I had it. In very very rare circumstances can someone return an opened game. Since we do gut games that helps. I was able to return mine because 1) It was in prestine condition, I didn't put fingerprints ANYWHERE. and 2) We didn't have a gutted copy anyway, so they just took it back, placed the disc in a sleeve and used the box as the display.

And yes, the version I played was the X360 version.

i played it. hated it for about 45minutes, but kept playing it to see if it got any better.

the game is actaully really ****ing addictive and fun if you get over the whole framerate thing, which isn't even that bad and is largly exagerated. seriosly, the game is deep as **** wiht all the customizations and such in it. rent it, give it at LEAST 3 hours before you judge it, then say something about it. dont play it for 10 minutes and say it sucks. that's ******ed

I ahd the same experience with Oblivion. I hated it for the first hour but after the intro part and you were thrown itno the oepn world, it got soooo much better

not ******ed, just a strong first impression. I give a game ample time if it's just the controlls I'm having issues with, or if i want to get out into the open, but from the time I started walking around, to 'attacking' it just reeked. Lack of animations if you are fighting and decide to move backwards just doesn't do it for me. I like quality, and lack of animations, or bugs where animations are missing because the game is focusing on something else is not quality. I also dont like playing games where it feels like i'm playing a game on an outdated PC. Choppy framerates do suck, and it isn't exagerated.

Well yeah that was just to get new players introduced to the controls so you have to give it chance until you can actually create your character and are able to go out into the world.

I actually hated Oblivion.

Once I was in the open world, I was just like "where do I start?"

Maybe I'm mildly ******ed but I didn't have a clue in that game.

Oblivion is one of the best games I bought this year. I still play it and I havent even gone through any of the expansions. Best game value for my money as it has soooo much replay value

I have noticed this is pretty much the case with most RPG's. You have to give it time before judging it, & sadly you have to give it a lot of time.

Could you please expand your review though? What is the game like? What kind of Customizations are you talking about? What is the Online Multiplayer, etc...

I suggest reading gamespot's review on it. It's one of the most balanced reviews that I've read about the game (as I read a ton of them before buying the game, and I still read reviews of the game to see what other people think.)

You can tell that gamespot either completed the game, or they got decently far in it. After a while the bugs don't really disappear, but you don't notice them anymore. The lag/loading/framerate doesn't seem like much of an issue after a while either. Anyone that says this is a terrible game and gives it under a 6/10 hasn't played it to expierence it.

worst game ever. voice acting was terrible..character customizing was bad..graphics were bad for a 360 game. dissapointed

Activate a quest and then follow the map. Or just wander around.
