Has anyone else noticed that when the combat and fighting is grade A. The dialouge is horrific?

S-CRY-ED for example

Yeah. S-CRY-ED is the worst example of anime ever.
Anyway, I don't know what you define as good dialoging, but if I'm right about you: I think you'll enjoy DeatNote, Case Closed, Gantz, Code Grease, and Ghost in a shell maybe.

I plan on eventually watching ghost in the shell but it's to far into the series right now to understand it

I do enjoy Cowboy Bebop though

I think Fruits basket had great dialogue. It was like DBZ but with more fighting!:oldrazz:

I noticed a lot of anime sometimes has silly kind of comic book dialogue that's kind of odd.

What's really weird is the constant talking during the fighting. In Shounen shows why do characters always explain to their opponents how they use their techniques and how they beat them? That just makes no sense.

More mature and adult shows like Champloo are cool because they don't have crap like that.

that 's one of the main thing i'm talkin' about that crap is huge in DBZ

There seems to be a hot steam bath scene in almost every anime.

Because its cool.

I don't think it's cool at all. Don't ****ing talk to your opponents and give them valuable information you can use against them.

Just shag their asses and keep your mouth shut.

A-f*****g-greed. :o

Wanna be a pompous dumbass who's too arrogant for continued existance?

Fight like you live in an anime.

One, if you ARE that powerful, chances are, heavy research has been done on you, and several ideas of taking you down are already there. So when you start talking, and give that big ol' opening away, you're dead.

Two, if you're dumb enough to believe that the other person apparently isn't going to think about how your powers work because their life depends on the outcome of this fight, then just prepare to die.

My favourite, is when they're near death, this whole near death experience makes them realize they lived their life wrong or something, and that's why they're dying for it. When the ****** doesn't realize that he's probably smarter than the main character, and the only reason he's dying, is because he had a lapse of idiocy to tell the guy how to beat him.

That's pretty much the gist of it.

In some ways I've gotten used to it. In other ways it still annoys me.

Well, all I can say is that its a shounen. If you want an anime where they don't do things like that; Gantz, Akira, Tenjho Tenge, Full metal alchemist and others are all good. But to be fair, when most villains do it, its because they're extremely cocky and think they can win no matter what.

Oh I've seen Tenjo Tenge, what an overrated and bad show. They do that crap all the time.

I can't remember when a bad guy stops to explain his attack on that show. Usually someone from the side lines narrates what they're doing.

I like Fullmetal Alchemist because they tell them how they win AFTER they basically won

I can see the cocky prebattle talking but when the guy who was talking a big game continues to attack after he has had the opportunity to already defeat his opponent!:cmad: Take Neji in his fight vs. Naruto :o

Naruto already knew Nejis techniques before battle, the thing is he decided to explain his origin of all times.
