Man, the fight with scene with Uber Immortal is probably my favorite scene throughout the entire movie. He was a damn beast.

I just wish there was more of Uber Immortal in the movie. He was badass.

I wouldn't have minded if there were two, Uber Immortal was badass. He should've had a few more minutes of screen time though.

he would of wiped out too many spartans , i dont think they wanted that too happen so early in the film

Not neccasarily, the guy was so much of a beast that he killed some of his own people, or at least slammed them down.

In the context of the movie, yeah he was great, as was the movie itself, BUT, if they had adapted 'Gates Of Fire' by Steven Pressley instead, not only would we have gotten a more accurate portrayal of the Battle Of Thermopylae, but it just would have been a better movie too IMO.

Anything that is totally accurate from which the context it came from is always boring.

^Have you read Gates Of Fire? It is probably the best book i have ever read, believe me, its not boring, Spartan culture is much more looked into and the battle scene's are even better than in 300. Plus, the way the Spartan's finally die in GOF is much better also.

All I'm saying is that if everything in the media were to be just like it is in literature, it'd be boring. You should always try to make it better or unique by adding in fictional elements.

actually the biblical stories of war could be interesting and far from boring.

Sorry, but i couldnt disagree more, read Gates Of Fire, its a much better telling of the battle of Thermopylae. There is nothing wrong with realism, especially when adapting an historic event.

What ending would you rather have, the remaining Spartans dieing with barely a fight just so Leonidis can put a scratch on Xerxes face.

Or the remaining Spartans dieing by fighting until the last, even using severed limbs as weapons once their spears and swords and shields are smashed.

Honestly, what sounds better?

Anyway, I liked Uber Immortal, it would've been nice to have seen him kick even more ass than he did.

^In fairness it was the best scene of the movie, a great fight scene, but i think it lasted just about the right amount of time.

The fight scene didn't have to have been too much longer, just about 2-5 minutes.
