But if these characters are in fact as you say characters that one can use for a haloween entertainment purpose (dressing up), then why can they not be in a poll for a haloween entertainment purpose?

I find that to be logical.

Ahhh, but this poll doesn't say what it is the voting of these characters is FOR. It's just a bunch of characters with no explanation of the voting criteria, the theme of the poll or the purpose of the tournament. The only reason we know that there is a Halloween thing going on here at any level is because I had to interrogate that information out of the poll starter. And even then, the character selection and match-ups are still very random with no real theme tying any of them together. It's all just random.
