Isaac paints the future as we all know. Many of his painting have either come to pass or will soon. But one keeps catching my eye;
uluru.jpg

Supposedly its titled Uluru, my question is simply this; When will this image become reality? Will it be in the season finale? A future season? Will it take place within someones mind? Or is this part of the as of yet unrealized nightmarish future? You thoughts?

Is that Mr Glasses down there lookin up?

Honestly I had never noticed that pic until a few min ago when it was on the Banner of the "9th Wonder" Heroes Message Board. I wouldn't be surprised if it was apart of the season ending.

However whose power could it be, or is it a villian, or is it something else?

Do we know that Prostahulk's husband is a phaser? Could he be a shape shifter instead? Could the kid?

Interesting. Mayhaps whatever agency Mr. Bennet works for tries to create some sort of new life form from the DNA of the heroes, and that's the result.

Its an interesting theory, that the creature might involve/be Mika.

Maybe Pete ends up trying to copy the powers of every hero Mr. Bennet's agency has on file, and he turns into that.

Maybe, at this point just about any theory we come up with is relevant.

I really hope that they don't show that thing on the show, it'll look horrible.

If it actually came true, I mean.

Maybe thats a node to one of the characters true intentions. That inside there a twisted monster, hell bent on destruction.

lol as we all know, a painting is never just a painting when it comes to Isacc

anyone else notices the Kirbyesque style and mood of the piece?

the layout of the image, the creature's build and stance, the dramatic impact it creates, and how well it meshes in a very mysterious way into the whole concept

He only paints future paintings when he's high.

I think he feels he can only paint the future when he is high and that is the way his subconsious unlocks his power for now. I think in the next episode (5) when Peter and Mohinder show up and Peter mimics his powers he will see he can let go of the drugs and use his power on his terms.

I can see the future when I'm drunk. The more I drink, the stronger I see...

One time I got so hammered, I saw myself being miserable in the bathroom the next morning and by gosh darnit, I was!

Fine, but that doesn't mean every painting has to come true.

You would want that wouldn't you? Silly boardie.

Do you have some kind of problem?

It was supposed to be a joke, a noir towards your Broadie a/v

The title is what's most interesting to me. Uluru is the Aboriginal name of Ayer's Rock, in Australia. I wonder if that means that Uluru (the rock) is actually a monster, or if it is somehow animated to become a monster. Perhaps a monster just dwells inside of it?

That seems rather ... ambitious though, considering the show's special effects to date, so it's probably just some rock guy that took the name.

hmmmmmmm.

In another thread in this forum some guy claims that the shadow of whoever was chasing the cheerleader in the painting supposedley had 4 arms, Uluru does not have 4 arms but it would of been intersting if he did.

On the other hand this rock creature may be able to grow rock parts and from what i recal the blury shadow we saw we don't necessarily know that it has 4 arms or that it may be physically disfigured..........

:)

Although when i go back and look at the image what appears to be a third arm may be a bad shadow and w/e is attacking her appearst to elongate.

Mr. Fantastic? :p
