The funny part about all this is that throughout all of human existence aliens have been somehow observed by written,spoken, and illustrated reports in recent years organizations, governments, and companies have been implementing and even encouraging the masses to become accustom to these "plausible fictional" beings.

Not to sound like one of those conspirators but it looks like certain groups, governments, big interest, are creating the environment for a new "enemy" the entire Islamic radical terrorist deal isn't working to well with the sheeple.

There is never going to be one man/woman appointed. The UN will probably just assemble the top scientist in the field and figure out a course of action from there. Our response would probably be a Voyager type signal if anything. Not much else to say.
