for anyone thats played CoD4, it will be hard to get into UT3.I've played the hell out all the Unreal Tournament/Championship games so far. :/

bc CoD4 is the best FPS out there on the market. I used to not like console FPS and UT used to be my favorite FPS series but CoD4 changed both of those opinions for me. It raised the bar. There were alot of FPS released in that short time frame last fall, and COD4 surpassed all of them. I bought both and probably touched UT3 a few times but have played the heck out of CoD4Why?

I never played COD3, so I wouldnt know. I absolutely loved the single player in Cod4. Its the first part of the game I experienced and amazed meThe multiplayer is decent, but the single player didn't raise the bar, not by any means imo, It's practically Call of Duty 2003 with skins, although the ending was excellent.
Couple of examples, Liner lead by the hand game play, the enemy's for the most part are like shooting ducks in a barrel, invisible barrier's all over the place, certain set pieces, like the truck and helicopter towards the end are almost game play wise the exact same as a section in cod 2003, this guy explains better

IMO Halflife 2: episode 2 and Portal were the best fps thus far this gen, but it's subjective, obviously. Crysis could have been, it had the game play and the lush graphics, but cookie-cutter story, characters, like most of Crytek's games are throw-aways, what a wasted opportunity.

Ditto. The Half-Life series really deserves to be crowned the best FPS series, ever. As much as I love CoD4, it's all about The Orange Box
I played it for a day then put it in a drawer.
