Unseen footage to be shown at Comic Con!

Hopefully along with this panel will be any word if a third season is ordered. To be honest if we don't hear good word about that by September, we should really worry. SDCC is usually where big multi-media announcements are made, though. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony didn't give him word until shortly before.

Cool news, if its deleted footage i sure hope someone gets the footage online. Legally would be nice.

great news!
i am praying to the Almighty day and night for the third season!

I still don't get it why they didin't release those "episodes edited as a movie" with deleted scenes in them? And I'm sure this will only be shown to lucky people at Comic Con, nothing else.

well it according to greg was all up to sony/marvel on what they wanted to include in the box set/volume releases and he didnt have any say in what should or shouldnt been added. that kinda sucks, i hate when u know their is unused/deleted scenes/alternate endings-starts/gag reels/etc.... for things and they are not included.

Some footage of the panel @ Comic Con posted by alfredog1976:

None of the unseen footage.

Grr... I really want to know what the unseen footage consisted of! The clip reel was meant to be 9 minutes long and while some of it was meant to be stuff that's been seen before, some of it is unseen stuff...

Why hasn't anyone spilled the beans yet about the footage they showed at Comic Con?!

I haven't, but all I've heard from MAAF and this is tht they didnt show it or no one filmed it :(

well that sucks, i know their is tons of folks who recorded con promos for other stuff.

Differences between TV and DVD versions for “Natural Selection”:

I'm sure all of you seen this already, but I decided to copy and paste it to show what was missing in the first arc of series. This of course was in the "Night of the Lizard" DVD.

1. In the very beginning of the first scene, extra police sirens are added in the DVD version in order to bridge this episode to “Interactions.” (Remember, they also added in the extra police sirens during the very last scene of “Interactions” on the DVD version.)

2. During the scene where Aunt May is counting up her bills and Peter comes home, there is music in the TV version. In the DVD version, there is mostly silence except for the final part of the scene.

3. As usual, no episode title or on-screen credits on the DVD version.

4. The water balloon tossing scene is different in each version, meaning there are different shots that are specific for each version. The pictures above contain those shots exclusive to each version. So in the TV version, Flash hits Peter with five balloons. In the DVD version, Flash only hits Peter with three balloons, although one of them hits him in the crotch, which he covers up with his hand. Other than that, the scene is the same in both versions.

5. In the scene where Gwen says, “So [the gene cleanser] will remove any non-human DNA” and Peter thinks to himself “Even spider,” a translucent Spider-Man mask covers half of Peter’s face in the DVD version. In the TV version, his face stays normal. Also, on the DVD version, the lab is brightly lit in that shot of Peter’s face, when it should be dark (since most of the lights in the lab are off). In the TV version, the lab is dark, as it should be.

6. There’s about four seconds cut from the beginning of the subway scene with people running and the policeman firing his gun about ten times at the Lizard.

I sure wish we could see that clip reel right about now...

Yh guns firing was sumthin I knew cumin but surpised bout the ballon thing. Sharp eye Mistah!:woot:

thats for posting those differences man, i too hope that reel makes it online, it looks like it going to be shown again at this upcoming gargolyes con thing so hopefully someone will record it this time.

From what I've read, two of the deleted scenes shown were Ned Lee asking Betty Brant out on a date, and an extented version of the finale of "Shear Strength", where Gwen saves Spidey from more falling rubble before they reach the escape pod.

I believe Greg talked about both of these before.

They plan on showing the unseen footage again at the Gathering of The Gargoyles convention later this month. And they're going to have several panels devoted to SSM :hyper:

Like i said earlier today i hope someone is smart enough to record it this time around.

Whether we see anything will also be down to how tight the security is about recording video devices.

I doubt it will be "tight", its a pretty small convention.
