Fiscal Austerity (reign in on deficit) vs Further Fiscal Stimulus (more spending)

I like absurdity, and politics is a shining beacon of everything absurd.

I think it's going to be a bit of both. They're going to cut from non-essentials in order to pay for a stimulus. I think just simply paying is dead after the Eurozone has now been crippled by debt.

It looks like their idea of austerity is not increasing spending and raising taxes. Instead of reducing spending significantly and taxation simultaneously. I predict this will fail because of this, and they will blame austerity for it. When it is not even close to cutting cost.
