Because it means it's ONLY a blink-and-you-missed-it cameo... I expected a little more than that, X1 Iceman role at the most... such a big secretism for this?!

Perhaps I'll change my opinion when I see him in "action", but now I feel really disappointed...

I agree with Moi..if he's Gambit (in which I doubt) don't expect much. From what I know, this is his first movie role ever. If they got an unknown but had theater experience, then I'll be less worried..

I think we have our Gambit guys. I really do. I wish it wasn't so, but he's just got the whole french thing going for him and the looks of Ultimate Gambit. Who knows maybe he did an audition of sorts for Gambit? And Gambit's still a bigger role than we thought.

If I were you guys I'd simply make believe this guy's just going to be some background extra. That way if he does turn out to be a certain character you'd like to at least see get some action in X3 you'll be nicely surprised. Because if he doesn't, you're setting yourself up for another big dissapointment

I'm starting to think you're right... except in the role size: now I'm completely sure it's only a short cameo.

That's what I have been keeping my faith about "G" role, but this boy... He's never been into a movie, he hasn't got any experience filming... and he seems to be "G", too much coincidences.

If he were an ACTOR (at least with some experience) I still could believe in a bigger role, but he's a model...

Perhaps, and I am working on complete hypotheticals here, maybe this is the reason the whole Gambit thing has been such a hush hush issue. If (and this is a huge huge if) this guy has been cast as Gambit, perhaps they want to keep it a bit quiet because of the internet effect. "WHAT? HE'S GAMBIT??? THAT IS THE SUXXORS!!!!!!!!!" Maybe they want to keep it quiet to see exactly what this guy can do. If it works, great. If not, it is not the end of the world, because they can simply cut the guy out of the film or reduce his role to a cameo.

Now this is a strictly hypothetical situation here. If the guy is telling the truth. If he has become a menber of the cast. If he has been cast as Gambit. It could all end up being complete BS and we have specualted ourselves to death for nothing.

I prefer him out of the movie than played by a non-actor, frankly.

And you're right, all that I'm saying just will happen IF he's been cast as Gambit. Perhaps he's not him, but there're too many similarities...

Now afmvdp already deleted his first post on this thread where he had this guys email etc. but I remember reading in it something about Azriel... It's too much of a coincidence.
At first I thought he might not be because he says his last name is Dwyer, but that might just be his mother's maiden name, or maybe Grassbaugh is, who knows (or maybe Dwyer is made up, since in this blog he's talking about alternate personas and all).

Let's say that they got this guy..who's from Texas..(or is it Georgia)...now that guy has to be special... If I was Ratner and wanted to get an unknown, I'll go with actors from the Vancouver area (or Canada in general). Look at Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, and Ellen Page...Canadians. Unless Billy went to LA, NY, or Canada for an audition, this could be bogus.
