I have two problem with my vaio.
1. It says plug in charging but it doesn't get past 18% available.

2. Issue is getting the computer to charge. I seem to have problem with the power socket or powerjack. It is loose and I have to struggle to find a sweet spot to get it charging.

I need to get it charging to 100% first so I can take it to geek squad to fix the powerjack. Right now if it stops charging for even 1 min, I get the critical low battery warning.

Anyone has some advice? I don't know want to do. I got this vaio few years ago. Don't remember the year.

Might be the battery needs replacing or the power supply in the charger is dead. Probably the battery though.

For it being loose, is the same model of power cord it originally came with? If its different then that would cause it. Otherwise the casing might be loose.
