iPod Help

Does anyone else have an issue with their iPod where, after charging it (and, naturally, the automatic update), the iPod just randomly truncates some songs? For instance, "Theme from Batman", which is 8:25, only plays for 2:37, then moves on to the next song on the playlist. As soon as I play the song in iTunes and update the iPod again, the problem is fixed. But still--it's really strange. Has anyone else noticed this? More importantly, is there something causing it, or is it just one of those things one has to deal with?

Check the support forums over at Apple.com and see if anyone else has had this issue. I haven't had it or even heard of it, but it doesn't mean other folks haven't.
