I thought maybe we'd get it this week with Lions for Lambs.
t: ROFLI don't like Cruise's costume. Too different from the comics...er...history. His badge is too small and the red on his uniform not bright enough. And does Hitler have a kid in this one? Cruise's neck is too skinny and he doesn't look muscular enough.
t:The trailer looks fantastic, but I am a bit disappointed that they're not using German accents. I could have been fine with Kenneth Branagh's half-crooked accent, but Cruise didn't even attempt to sound different. But that shouldn't be a problem, I believe this will be a good movie.
The lack of accents when playing nazis is kind of weird. especially cruise for some reason. Its just so distracting.
I would of atleast expected one from Brannagh as his done one in pretty much every nazi movies his made.
The lack of German accents is distracting to some of you?
I, quite frankly, find accents annoying. Just because you put on an accent doesn't mean you're magically speaking whatever language it is you're using the accent of. You're still speaking English.
Personally I either want the actor's to speak the language their characters are supposed to be speaking, or just go with their own language without accents.
Did it bother anyone that Gerard Butler didn't speak in a Greek accent during 300? Or that Russel Crowe didn't have an Italian accent in Gladiator?

Valkyrie already occupied that date.
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and the Guy Ritchie drama, RocknRolla, with Gerard Butler.
