What the heck is this "Vibrant In-Text Advertising" stuff?

When did Hype start doing this and is there any way to turn it OFF!!!

It's annoying as hell.

We've had it for years now. No, we're not turning it off

I've never noticed it before the other day.

It started highlighting certain words the other day that's why I thought it was new. I had typed the word "Story" and when it come up it was highlighted so I thought I had some kind of new virus that was linking me to sites that would get me in trouble here at Hype.

Oh well, It's annoying but I guess I can live with it.

The Hype sold even more of it's soul it appears. The adds are really annoying. Even scrolling down the page can set them off.
