I am going to Vegas next week and need some hints on what to do while I am there...of course I will gamble and visit the local brothels:)

Tell me what I need to do...

check out the comic shops there. I heard about one of them and i forget the name.. BUt its supposed to be huge..

I've never been there... I should really go sometime, my uncle lives out there. I'm not a big gambler though... probably the main reason I have never thought about going out there very often.

I need names!!!

Check out all the weird hotels... they have plenty that seem pretty nice. They have shows and stuff in them that you can go to.

I am staying at Mandalay Bay and want to see a show but cannot decide which one...I have narrowed it down to Kathy Griffin, Penn and Teller, Lance Burton, Blue Man Group, and something else...

well, do u want to go a club while u are there? or just drink at a strip bar? how about a buffett?

I want to do it all!!! And need advice...

Two words my friend: The world's biggest strip bar!! Also you can go to the local brothels as well. Some girls that look good are cheap and will let you hit it for like $400 bucks although it's much cheaper to go to Tijuana for that.

I'm under 21 and have gone three times and still loved it. Great place to drink. They make so much money from gambling they can really lower the alcohol prices. You can get a 32 oz margarita for 99 cents at I believe the West Ward Ho. Check out the mall there, it's huge! The outside is surrounded by giant television screens, also a large metal "cloud" is suspended at the entrance. There's so much to do there I could go on and on

^That is why I am looking for stuff to do and don't want to troll the internet for suggestions when I gots youse guys.

I haven't been in two years so I'm a tad outdated. A new Casino/Resort opened there since then, and the monorail is now open. The economy is in a hole right now and lots of cities have financial problems yet Vegas can afford to build a mega multi-million dollar monorail. Amazing. I'm happy to answer any specific questions you have and what resort are you staying at?

I figure I want to gamble one entire day and then see the sites over the next two days and maybe gamble at night. I love Black Jack...Roulette is ok...slots are thiefs...and Craps is hard to figure out. I want to:
1. Gamble
2. See a show
3. Eat at a buffet
4. See the scenery
5. Buy s***
6. Visit some cool historical sites...no not the Palms because Real World SUCKS!

A brothel and its contents are scenery no???

I don't know if you're into boxing and how long you're staying for but this is a good site to check out news on who's fighting. http://www.lvboxing.com/lasvegasboxingmain.htm

As far as shows go my fave was Ka (don't know if it's still showing) but I like most of the Cirque Du Soleil shows.

As for any other forms of entertainment, I'll leave you to your own devices. ;)

Mandalay Bay is great although it's right at one end of The Strip. You'll have a lot of walking to do. :)

Have a great time

I love the immigrants that give you the escort cards on the street :)

Actually you can see mountain ranges all around you in Vegas, its gorgeous at sunset. Mandalay Bay is an excellent choice. The pool is awesome, with sand at the bottom and lots of winding paths and tropical plants. Too bad its only 3 feet deep but thats how all the pools there are now with new resorts, probably for safety. Your hotel also has an a nice aquarium located within it
