Flyhigh Works and Rayark have released the teaser trailer and first screenshots from the recently announced Switch version of rhythm game Voez, which is due out via the Nintendo eShop on March 3 in Japan for 2,500 yen.

The game, originally launched for smartphones, has been downloaded over 10 million times. It features over 100 songs from Taiwanese and Japanese creators, as well as a Switch-exclusive song called “Ascension” by Xi, and free planned updates to add more songs.

A FAQ reveals that the game can only be played in portable mode, and not in TV mode, due the game’s requirement of a touchscreen. The Japanese release supports Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Korean languages.

The Switch version of Rayark’s rhythm action game Voez will launch via the Nintendo eShop on March 9 in the U.S. for $25 and on March 3 in Europe for €21, publisher Flyhigh Works announced.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Flyhigh Works:
About
Voez is played by touching falling notes in time with the music. Set in a fictional town named “Lan Kong Town”, which is modeled after Yilan in Taiwan, the story is centered around 6 high school students who form a band that eventually achieves international fame.

Gameplay is simple, requiring players to touch vertically falling notes that have hit a bar on the bottom of the screen. Depending on the song, the number of lanes for the notes increase and shift side to side, making the screen look as if it is dancing to the music. There are over 100 songs in the library.

Three difficulty levels—“Easy,” “Hard,” and “Special”—are available. Players are able to choose difficulty levels according to their skill so they may enjoy all pieces.
