if they were in the movie they could not be called devastator since they gave Brawl that name, why could they of just called him Brawl like the toy!

They could just add a suffix to his name- like "Devastator Supreme" (or something like that)-... fans would recognize it, appreciate it, and all bases would be covered.

I think Robert Orci said somewhere that they were going to fix the Devastator/Brawl mistake for the DVD release.

Part of me hopes that they change the subtitle in the DVD release so that Brawlistator calls himself "Brawl" instead of "Devastator," but that's just wishful thinking I suppose...

You know, this is actually a pretty short and very select list...and popularity-wise, some of the ones at the very TOP already...I'm willing to bet these characters are already going to be added and this poll is just DiBonaventura having fun

I have mixed thoughts on this hypothetical line-up. Mostly with the Autobots included. Mirage and Jetfire are two Autobots I want to see introduced in TF2, and possibly Grimlock if they could fit the Dinobots into the story. I wouldn't mind Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod being included at some point, but I wouldn't want to see them any earlier than the third movie. My reason being that I think that there are other characters from the '84 line-up such as Prowl, Wheeljack, Sideswipe, and Hound that should appear in a film before Hot Rod and co. should.

I think that they should introduce some characters from the second season of the cartoon to the sequel. Then get characters from the movie/season 3 for the third movie. I thought of that first idea because I really want to see Tracks. He was my favourite after Jazz. I think that a flying corvette would look awesome on the big screen.

Michael Bay has said it isn't a mistake and that "he always prefered the name Devastator" in ways he still don't get it. Why not just name an Autobot Megatron lol

I heard something similar. Stll, I could swear that Orci said somewhere that it would be changed back to Brawl for the DVD.
