I'm not really sure if this belongs here or not but I wanted to get people's opinions of school security and VT security so I put it here.

I think it's painfull obvious and VT needs to crack down on it's monitoring of students. It seems pretty outrageous for two events like this to happen in such a short span of time. It wasn't long ago that the VT shootings took place and now a stabbing!

I didn't want to mention it, but really, both of these incidents dealt with Asian students. I've been in two colleges/universities and both had a large non-American (especially Asian) population and neither had any incidents of violence beyond a few scattered fist fights.
