Ubisoft has released a new story trailer and screenshots for Watch Dogs 2.

Additionally, several media outlets have gone live with new gameplay videos.

In Watch Dogs 2, Marcus Holloway teams up with the Dedsec crew, an elite group of hackers engaged in a quest to shut down the plans of power hungry Blume CTO Dusan Nemec and restore power to the people.

Watch Dogs 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15.

Ubisoft has detailed the content of the Watch Dogs 2 Season Pass.
Users who purchase the Season Pass will gain access the following downloadable content as it becomes available:

  • T-Bone Content Bundle: Players will get the style and the swagger of legendary hacker Raymond “T-Bone” Kenney with his truck and outfit, and they’ll discover Mayhem — a new co-op difficulty level that will pit players against a new enemy archetype armed with advanced weaponry.
  • Human Conditions: Through several hours of additional mission content in three new world stories, players will uncover San Francisco’s biggest scandals on the cutting edge of science, medicine, and misuse. In Human Conditions, players will also experience new elite co-op missions and face a new enemy type: Jammer, with the technology to hunt players down.
  • No Compromise: Players will experience an all-new world story which mixes Marcus up in the seedy underbelly of San Francisco and puts him in the crosshairs of the Russian mafia. Also includes a new co-op mode: Showd0wn, where only the best players survive.

Pretty excited to play this. Looking forward to see how much it's upgraded from the first one.
 
I swear on everything I forgot this was coming out until I saw an ad at Target.
 
I remember it only because the AC Collection also came out today, which I still think is odd considering both are made by Ubisoft.
 
I will probably grab this over the weekend. Everything I've seen looks more promising than the first game. I hope they've improved after the feedback from the first game.
 
It's actually gotten pretty great reviews so far, although I've heard that the "multiplayer" stuff isn't exactly working as planned so Ubisoft is working on fixing that.
 
Im enjoying it, definitely a lot more fun, and the protagonist is 10x better than Grumpy McGrumpypants
 
Yeah, he's actually having fun with it. Angsty white dudes don't hold the monopoly on game protagonists. :p
 
Kind of sad, but I am so over the Ubisoft formula. Have no desire to play this.

Yup.

The last "Ubisoft formula" Ubisoft game I played was Black Flag, and I only played it because of the pirate ****, I always got really bummed whenever it turned into an AC game. I couldn't tell you the last one I played before that though. Probably AC: Brotherhood if I had to guess.
 
I love the "Ubi formula" so I'll definitely be getting this.
 
It's nice to hear this protagonist is better than Aiden was.
 
I'm torn on this. From a gameplay perspective it's pretty much better in every department and I love the new protagonist for the most part, but I am not digging the overall tone of the game. It's not as serious as the last game and the stakes seem to be much much lower. Granted iv only played a few of the main missions but so far all the "targets" iv gone after are just not worth the effort. Taking down an a**hole CEO and messing with Scientologist is cool, but like, really? You have all these skills and aren't afraid to bust a dude over the head and this is who you choose to attack? The first game you were a Frank Castle-esqe vigilante going after Sex traffickers, violent gangs and murderers. Here I'm making a CEO donate to a charity???? WTF kind of half ass vigilante are these ppl?

Maybe the stakes will pick up a bit, but so far I'm not too thrilled.
