weird internet problem regarding google

the last couple nights for about an hour or so I lose access to google, gmail and youtube, but only those sites, all other websites work fine. I cant access them on my phone during that time either. but yet my sister can reach them just fine on her phone???? I've tried using firefox and internet explorer, same thing, msn...bing all work, just anything google related doesnt work for a while. Couple hours later everything working just fine. Any help or ideas?

I've also encountered this type of problem before. I don't know much about computer stuff but I was told by my ISP tech support that it was a "Network issue" and that it just sorts itself out in time. Sorry if that wasn't any help. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can elaborate...on a related note, I don't want to start a new thread so I will ask here: I've had issues accessing the forums on my home internet. I can get on at work and on my mobile, but when I am at home i get the Banned IP message and not sure why. I have tried to message admin but have yet to get a response. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

what kind of phone?
have you tried clearing your cache, power off and power it back on again?

This goes for both of you. If this is just an issue at home, try clearing out your temp. internet files and cache then rebooting the modem if you're using your home wifi. When rebooting the modem both unplug it for 30 seconds then after it boots back up use a pin or something to press the little reboot button in the back. Then give it a try.

If it happens while out and about on your phone, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Tried clearing my cache and rebooting my modem but still got the Banned IP message. I thought it might have something to do with my router because when my phone is connected to my wifi i get the banned message but it works when using my mobile data. I tried connecting directly to the modem but still got the same results...Thanks for trying to help. Hopefully it will get figured out soon.
