Am I the only one that liked the short lived tv series? I thought it was a pretty good show.

I liked it. Wasn't award winning television, but I liked it well enough. Found a cheap copy of the DVD box set and watched it in a handful of sittings.

Both are decent movies. I don't know about "vastly superior" but I do prefer the 2nd film to the 1st. Blade: Trinity is a steaming pile, however....

Let's get Snipes' Blade on one of the Netflix series. He can still play the part. Denzel has been playing over his age for years but he can still pull it off. Snipes can do the same. Yes, I realize they're both African-American, but imo it works to their advantage.

Blade 2 and Blade 1 are equal in my eyes. They both have different flavors, though. Both kick major ass. There are parts of Trinity I like, but it can't hold a candle to the first two.

I liked Blade 2 as much as 1 to be honest.

It was cool having a team that Blade had to keep an eye on. Plus it was cool to see Norman Reedus pre-TWD fame.

I thought Blade 1 was better:
It had more emotionally resonance, because Blade and Whistler were both dying, Whistler from cancer and Blade because the serum was slowly becoming ineffective. That they were both living on borrowed time gave the whole thing a wearyness that worked dramatically.

If Hugh Jackman can play Wolverine nonstop, Snipes can come back with open arms to the role he redefined. Blade or bust.

If the other Blade movies got taken into consideration and tried to fit it with the continuity thing, Patton Oswalt was in Agents Of Shield so how can he be in Blade: Trinity aswell. Just saying.

His character died in Blade Trinity, and now he's playing new character in Agents of Shield. No continuity issues.

Snipes talked again with Marvel

Well, we’ve had some discussions. We have had very positive and favorable discussions about the Blade character and other things they have in mind. We’ll see where it goes. For those Blade fans, if we never reprise Blade, I have another character that will stand toe to toe with Blade any day. It’s not done yet.

Agreed that's not to say that Blade 1 is bad just that Blade 2 is better.

I think Blade, Agent Carter, and DareDevil benefitted from having a smaller amount of episodes...I know AoS isn't catered specifically to me but I'd half the episodes if I had my way...

I am not sure Marvel would bring Snipes back as Blade if they do a Blade movie or TV show. They'd probably not want people confusing things or questioning whether or not the MCU takes place in the universe that Snipe's Blade movies took place in and is part of the MCU continuity.
