The Hollywood Reporter has brought word that legendary action star Wesley Snipes (Blade, Demolition Man) will continue his work towards a big comeback with the upcoming zombie action thriller Outbreak Z, for which he will both star and executive produce the project.

The film, written by Hamid Torabpour, Clint Narramore and Andrew Kightlinger and directed by stuntman Chris Brewster in his debut, will follow two SWAT officers on a desperate search on a college campus overrun by zombies for a man who holds the vaccine to prevent the apocalypse.

Sounds like a few years too late Asylum knock-off of World War Z but Snipes is in it so maybe a bit higher than that.
