i thought perfect strangers was out there.

i want to see the 60's batman show on dvd. i watched them all on reruns but it would be cool to own the series.

The Batman series has long standing legal issues with regards to trademarks and some music that was used during the series...

seasons 1-3 of Renegade have been released on DVD

With The Wonder Years, the main problem is securing the music rights.

I wish there was more than four seasons of Boy Meets World on DVD.
I have the first two seasons of Perfect Strangers, but wish I could get more.
Wouldn't mind getting Drew Carey as well.

Disney really needs to just burn in hell for being so stupid with these. They've had three perfect opportunities to release DVD sets and they've screwed us time and time again.

Bullcrap. :down

I never cared for Spider-Man TAS but Disney sucks. They only released season 1 and half of Season 2 of Gargoyles.

because sales for it sucked...I love Gargoyles but when they released it on DVD, no one bought the ****ing things...why is Disney going to waste money releasing the rest of the seasons??

I know sales stunk but at least release the 2nd volume.

again...why waste the money?? especially when it comes to Disney....most anything they release on DVD makes some bank

Yeah, I'm sure Disney is really hurting and releasing volume 2 of Gargoyles would send them into bankruptcy :whatever:

even if they have loads of money to waste, it doesn't make sense business-wise to release the dvds if they won't get a profit out of it.

you're missing the point....its not about Disney hurting, its just sound business...dont spend the money to put together and release something that has already proven to perform poorly...it'd be like me deciding to sell VCRs today

Waste money on what?! Disney doesnt do jack **** except give us the episodes. Now, if they would even attempt to put special features, I'd agree with you. But the least they could do is give the fans the episodes.

any DVD set costs money to produce...from formatting the content to discs to disc art, cover art, and packaging, you also have to see if any cast members have a residuals clause in their contracts....id love to have a full on Gargoyles set, you could even throw in 'The Goliath Chronicles', but the chances are slim

Disney just better not pull that **** with the Marvel animated series', since the X-Men sales have been pretty solid.

is Disney the one putting those out?? the volumes have been selling well

Yep, Disney's doing them. Though I cant say I'm particularly happy with their treatment of the 3rd and 4th volume episodes.

You know what would help? Advertising it. Unless it has some teenager involved in it, Disney doesn't spend a dime to advertise it.

Truth.

and for Disney...that formula has worked like a mint for 40 ****ing years

could you be specific?? I haven't seen any of them yet

The episode order is absurd. They're doing it by airdate, as opposed to production order. I suppose I shouldnt be too bent out of shape about it, since at least we're getting the episodes, but it sucks that Disney doesnt care enough about this to put them in the right order.
