Well, now that most good shows are over, what new shows will everyone be watching next season?

well i still gotta catch up on heaps of shows like Greek and Big Bang Theory but after that i dunno lol

Chuck
Smallville
Vampire Diaries
Supernatural
all finished

does anyone know what show replaces these? anything good?

Justified is one I am really getting into. It will be on the top of my list next year. None of the new shows look interesting to me so I will probably stick to the shows I know like Dexter, Supernatural, Smallville, BBT,Fringe, Human Target, True Blood, Modern Family, Community, HIMYM, and a few others.

Returning Shows
Spartacus
Chuck
Supernatural
V
Smallville
Fringe
Stargate Universe

I really hope they even out the air time a bit more. They need to make Tuesday & especially Wednesday good TV

I will probably check out The Cape & that Fantastic Four like show

dEADLIST WARRIO

SMALLVILLE
VAMPIRE DAIRES
HUMAN TRAGET
BONES
NSIC
NSIC LOSE ANGLES

Law and Order SVU and LA
Justified
Its Always Sunny

Seriously why how am I the only one interested in The Walking Dead??

I'm curious about it, but how good can a zombie show be on a basic cable channel? If it was on Showtime or HBO, I might be more ineterested. I guess I'm a bit skeptical. Is there a trailer or comercial for it yet?

I'm interested in it, but Ill probably DVR it and watch it sometime later...and being on basic cable isn't indicative of quality....shows like The Shield, Breaking Bad, and Nip/Tuck have really pushed the content envelope for basic cable shows

My point is not about quality of basic cable, I love Justified, it's about the specific genre being on basic cable.

Smallville
Friday Night Lights'
Biggest Loser
Survivor
SVU
Parent hood

New stuff that we'll try:
Cape
Last Comic Standing
Unusual Family

Two of my favorite shows are over (Nip/Tuck and LOST) and next year some more of my favorite shows will likely end (Smallville, Supernatural, maybe The Office). At least I still have Dexter and Mad Men!

Breaking Bad (also on AMC) has had, amongst other things:

- The disintegrated remains of a body melted in an acid bath fall through a ceiling
- A man be decapitated with an axe, with it taking multiple cuts to finally remove it
- Said head then being superglued onto the back of a tortoise
- Said tortoise then being blown up, taking off another character's leg
- Someone getting shot in the head, blasting a crater through the back of their skull.

So I wouldn't say we need to worry about lack of violence on The Walking Dead. ;)

I'm down to SV, SGU and Caprica. All three of which I'm not exactly enthusiastic about.

I don't really count the HBO shows, as they're more like a short term treat, with their short seasons and all.

The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead

My list, again

I have seen similar things on regular TV. You know what I haven't seen? A zombie TV show. I would be much more excited about it if it was on HBO or Showtime. We have no idea how much leeway TPTB will have on basic cable. How much the censors will allow. We are talking about decomposing bodies feasting on human flesh and brains. Hence why I am a bit skeptical. I will for sure watch the first couple of episodes and hope it turns out to be awesome, but until then, I will remain skeptical.

Back on topic.

I have really got into Parenthood as well. The writting and acting are top notch and I am looking forward to its return next year.

Rubicon
AMC's new conspiracy thriller that will be paired with Mad Men this summer. Been looking forward to this for a long time. James Badge Dale is the lead and the pilot director was Allen Coulter who set the looks for The Sopranos, Damages.

The Walking Dead
The creator Robert Kirkman is writing two episodes of the six episode first season and says the only limit is the f-word. AMC ordered six episodes with just the pilot script, that is very rare.

The Event
The trailer and cast look good. NBC will promote it like they did Heroes, which hopefully builds interest. Its supposed to have the most buzz and 24's Evan Katz was brought on as showrunner. So it should fill the void left by 24 and Heroes in their old time slot.

No Ordinary Family
Looking past the unoriginal idea, it is something to check out with Michael Chiklis involved. Hope it can balance being a "family show" and still be entertaining on ABC.

Undercovers
Tuesday and Wednesdays have always been nights where noting interested me except FX originals so it would be nice to have a Wednesday show earlier in the night. I do prefer serials so don't know how I'll like this but willing to give it a shot.

Lonestar might've interested me if it wasn't so "soapy", if it was a FX show I would tune in. **** My Dad Says should be on cable but the big pay day would be on CBS and when you're living at home the big pay day sounds better than artistic integrity. CBS just comes off as lame with "Bleep" My Dad Says as the title and making it a multi-camera family sitcom.

Returning favourites

30 Rock
The Office
Parks & Rec
