I just realized something yesterday. I have absolutely no interest in whats to come on Heroes or Smallville. At the end of the previous seasons of Smallville and Heroes, I've always had slight interest in what would happen in the next season: Doomsday, Villains (what a supreme disappointment that was). But now... nothing. Because I know that any hopes I have of the next season being worthwhile would end with me essentially being kicked in the nuts by the writers.

Anyone feel the same about these, or any other, shows?

I do

Mainly because i feel that TV is overflowing with too much crap.

It has all been done before.

I quit "My Name Is Earl", "Heroes", and "Terminator: TSCC". I was fed up with how bad "Earl" and "Heroes" were getting, and with "Terminator", I just lost interest.

Dont even get me started on that one... seasons one and two were pretty good, but the third was just a trainwreck. I couldnt even force myself to watch after that. Until Marissa died, which was pretty funny.

Deep Space Nine - I quit near the end of Season 2
Voyager - I quit a few episodes into the first season
Enterprise - Same as above
My Name is Earl - I quit about halfway through Season 2 since my work schedule changed, and I quit trying to keep up

Heroes
Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles
Smallville
Scrubs (if it's not the real series finale... it doesn't ****ing count and I'm not continuing)
24 (almost every season... I start and just then trail off)
My Name is Earl
The Office

90210 after Brenda left
Drew Carey after season 4- Nuff' said
Terminator: TSCC- Just couldn't get into it- Too convoluted from Cameron's original vision
Xena Warrior Princess after about season 6- Last two seasons when things got serious were complete crap.
The Jeffersons- Fell apart around season 11
Dukes of Hazzard- Coy and Vance came on, Phat started Watching Knight Rider Friday nights.

Heroes (about 2 seasons in. I just couldn't take the pain anymore.)
Scrubs (Same reason Gilpesh gave)
24 (after this season, I can take only so much repitition!)

Friends and The X-Files.. I stopped watching them at the end of their 6th seasons

The most recent would be Terminator and Heroes.

Simpsons... doubt I'll care enough to even tune in when the show finally does officially end. Kind of stopped with X-Files but I did watch the series finale.

I'm in a peculiar situation. My cable has terrible reception for Fox. You can certainlly see the show, but hearing is another entire thing altogether. It screams a terrible white noise, and you have to jiggle the cable until you get a signal. And quite frankly the show lately isn't worth the annoying work it takes to watch it. Otherwise, I have nothing else to watch on Sunday nights.

Heroes, Smallville, and X-Files.

lol so we're basically all on the same page concerning Heroes?

Heroes
Smallville
The X-Files
Family Guy
The Simpsons

ER
X-Files
Pushing Daisies
Heroes
My Name is Earl
Life

Most recently, Knight Rider and Terminator SCC.

At this stage, I'm just about ready to give up Heroes too. I will remain a Smallville devotee in the hope that someday we'll see some flight and a blue/red suit.

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles
Smallville
Prison Break, completely slept on the final 6 episodes.

Charmed(quit halfway through season 2 when I realized there was no real plan)
The O.C.(quit about 4-5 episodes into season 3)
Grey's Anatomy(about 5 episodes in)
Desperate Housewives(about 7 episodes in)
Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles(about 4 episodes in)
The Simpsons(quit around season 14 and eventually came back about halfway through 18)
Enterprise(quit about 5 episodes into season 3 and came back about 4 episodes before the final episode)

on the fence: Smallville(after the horrors of season 4, I was ready to throw it in...but season 5 was awesome so I stayed. 6-7 were also good but 8 was up and down and 9 beter be awesome and the final season or I might be done).
Heroes("Villains" was a mess but had it's moments and "Fugitives" was boring drivel with an handful of bright spots. The next season better be awesome or I'm done).
