What do you love most about the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

I'm having difficulty pinpointing exactly what my favorite thing is about the MCU. I love the characters, the action, the costume designs and I'm a huge sucker for the shared universe concept, when done right, and Marvel certainly more than pulls it off.

Y'know, it's funny: I never planned on seeing Iron Man in theaters back in '08. It wasn't until I heard about the Fury cameo from a friend that I decided I needed to go see it. And I'm glad I did, as it opened a lot of new doors for me in terms of hobbies and personal interests.

To date, there hasn't been a single installment of the MCU that I haven't enjoyed, be it a film, tv show, one-shot, or even tie in comic, and I'm looking forward to what's in store for the next eight or so months as we lead into Age of Ultron.

I think it's fair to say that Hawkeye hasn't yet been given his chance to shine. I have a feeling that Age of Ultron is going to make a whole bunch of new Clint Barton fans out of the moviegoing public.

I think so as well based on Whedon's comments. I sure hope it's true.

I agree with a lot of what's been said already, I enjoy almost everything the MCU has done so far (still waiting for a darker Thor movie, closer to the Norse comic line, a Mark Ruffalo Hulk/Leader movie, and even though I enjoy Agents of Shield, a Shield movie with the A-listers would be great), but above all, I love the continuity. I hope they keep it up indefinitely.

The heroes. No other studio has made their heroes as consistently likeable and entertaining as Marvel Studios. Regardless of what people say about the villains, the heroes are always perfect.

This! It's impossible not to love Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, etc!

I love that they managed to make the noble paragon hero work in today's world. After seeing what happened to Optimus Prime and Superman, it's great to see Cap being beloved just the way he's supposed to be, and it being sullied by attempts to make him "relatable", "flawed", and "realistic". I wouldn't want to live in a world where Ultimate version was the iconic cinematic representation of Cap.
