What happened to Helspont and the Daemonites?

So in the new 52 I was all excited that Helpsont and the Daemonites looked like they were being built up into some sort of crossover threat that Superman was going to face yet along with who knows who all else, but then suddenly they were gone (at least as far as what I was reading).
Did something happen to them that I just missed or did they just meaninglessly disappear like the rest of the Stormwatch characters?

Their stories were all being told in Grifter and Voodoo right (with an issue or two in Superman)? My guess is all those writers left/titles ended and no one's picked up the plot.

I'm not exactly in the know though. I only read the first 9 or 10 issues of Grifter, but I was definitely intrigued in the plot.

Since the integration of the Wildstorm universe in the New 52 was a sales disaster it has now been swept under the rug. If I recall correctly Stormwatch was even rebooted once more before it got cancelled to drive that point further home. Which sucks cause Voodoo was one of my favorite books from the relaunch and now all those plot threads will never be further explored.

If anyone read it, was Grifter wrapped up nicely? I always kinda wanted to come back to it but just didn't have the funds. I figure one day I'll grab the back issues or trades.
