It is still the Phantasm for me, saw it on home video originally as a kid. Then after reading more of the comics, watching Batman Begins which feels almost similar I have grown to appreciate the film even more. Probably Hamill at his finest as the Joker.

Since we can only pick one on the poll I voted for Under the Red Hood.

I can't see the poll, I'm on my phone. :hehe:

I'll look at it tomorrow.

I chose Mask of the Phantasm, I love Kevin Conroy's performance in it so much, it struck a chord with me.

yeah especially when Batman confronts Andrea at the dilapitated worlds fair. Kevin's delivery of "Leave Andi, now, please" is awesome.

Not a question, MotP still holds up as my favorite Batman movie (animated or live action).

1. Mask of the Phantasm
2. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
3. TDK Returns
4. Under The Red Hood
5. Assault on Arkham

I have to admit I'm not a big fan at all of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

I don't think the story is as streamlined or well-written as some other Timm projects. It gets by with a lot because it has some admittedly powerful, dark, emotionally arresting scenes. But for me its mostly a mediocre story with some highlights, rather than the poetic piece that MOTP is. Something about it just doesn't speak to me.

Under the Red Hood. Emotionally, the 'hardest' and most effecting, the end scene with all 3 is intense and believable and demonstrates all you need from the relationship between Batman & Joker.

However, would love them to adapt 'The Killing Joke'.

"This is the best day of my life."

Such a powerful ending, love it.

Mask of the Phantasm by far! I remember seeing it in theaters! Would love to see a blu-ray release, but probably won't happen. Oh well, I'll just stick with my DVD :)

Nothing has topped Batman: Mask of the Phantasm for me. This is one of my all time favorite Batman moments in any medium... and he's not even in costume. Say what you want about Conroy today, but this is one of the best Batman performances ever, in animation or live-action. :hrt:

Yes, such a terrific scene. And to think its a scene where Bruce is willing to sacrifice his crime fighting life to be with a woman.

This scene and that scene at the end with Alfred where they talk about Andrea are my favorite scenes of the whole movie.

oh yes the only time Alfred really calls him Bruce and not 'Master Bruce'.

But then the woman says no so he says no on his life to become Batman and some people hate this, comparing it to Vader. :whatever:
